Tweed Heads Appliance Parts was first established in 1969 as Nelson Refrigeration. Later renamed to Nelson Appliance Spares to better describe the evolution of the business from a purely refrigeration repair service to a parts and repairs service for whitegoods, and since then has been servicing and providing the Gold Coast with appliance parts. In 1994 the business was purchased by the current owner, Don Hayden, who named the store Tweed Heads Appliance Parts in 1999. By 2005, Don Hayden knew it was time for THAP to go online to reach businesses and consumers all over the world. Our appliance parts database incorporates over 8000 items and continues to grow. Tweed Heads Appliance Parts also holds solid relationships with the major manufacturers, such as Stokes, Whirlpool, Westinghouse, Simpson, Kelvinator and Frigidaire.
